Sweet times in sweet places

Buna zewa!!
I can't believe that I have been here for two weeks already!! Time has flown by!! Program is going well with the kids even though there are times of frustration. Yesterday was a bit of a trying day because the director of the orphanage told us to take all the kids for the whole day. This is a problem because normally we take the younger girls in the morning and do more a serious bible study with the older girls in the afternoon. So, needless to say it has been challenging trying to redesign our day. It's also so much more difficult trying to control twice the number of kids, one on one time seems to be almost impossible!! However it is clear to see that God is working despite the difficulties, I have been able to have a couple of deeper conversations with one of the girls!! It is also awsome to see how they notice that we treat them different than what they are used to, that even when they test our boundaries, they keep coming back, longing to simply be near us!! We did a skit about the story of Hosea yesterday and it was exciting to see how attentive they were and seemed to grasp the concept of forgiveness that we were trying to portray!! I also love to hear them sing!! Those are the most beautiful moments, off-key and all, because praising God is the most beautiful sound to His ears!!
